Sports betting company DraftKings has trolled Drake with an edit of Kendrick Lamar's video announcing the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show.

In a video shared on TikTok, the brand edited together the video of K Dot's announcement cut to a clip of Drake getting tackled by Marshawn Lynch in the video for his track "Laugh Now Cry Later." The clip was captioned, "Alternate ending to Kendrick's Super Bowl announcement." To add insult to injury, the clip included the portion where Lynch told Drake, "Get the fuck off the block, n***a. Fuck wrong with you?"

Drake is no stranger to sports betting, frequently dropping big cash on major games across both the NFL and the NBA among other sports, so there's a high likelihood he'll see this edit. However, Drake has a partnership with DraftKings competitor Stake, with whom he announced a partnership in 2022 and has continued to promote ever since. So is this DraftKings throwing shade or just another brand capitalizing on the moment?

The announcement that K Dot will be headlining the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show has sparked a lot of debate online, specifically with multiple figures in hip-hop suggesting that the spot should've gone to New Orleans native Lil Wayne. Despite all the chatter, however, Kendrick seems unfazed and has dropped a new untitled song on his Instagram.
