Aubrey O'Day has given her thoughts on Diddy's arrest in New York City earlier this week by preaching justice.

On Monday, O'Day hopped on her Instagram Stories to reflect on Diddy's latest arrest, and she focused on explaining what the "purpose" of justice is. According to the former Danity Kane member, Diddy's arrest is a win for women who have been abused and that "things are finally changing."

"The purpose of justice is to provide an ending and allow us the space to create a new chapter. Women never get this. I feel validated. Today is a win for women all over the world, not just for me. Things are finally changing," she wrote in her IG Story.

O'Day also briefly chatted with TMZ about Diddy's arrest, claiming she and other women abused by the mogul were able to move on finally. She also stated she spoke to several of the victims shortly after the arrest was made public.

"I never thought I would see this day. We all buried this inside of us in order to be able to keep going. And not just me, but victims you don't even know yet. We are all processing what that type of vindication can actually feel like now. Every conversation I've had with victims last night has been beyond moving on all levels."

O'Day has a tense history with Diddy that dates back to her time starring in the Making The Band 3 TV show, where Diddy formed the group Danity Kane. Things soon fizzled out as O'Day was kicked out of the group in 2008, and she regularly spoke out against Diddy over the years.

She recently spoke out against him when 2016 video footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway surfaced online. O'Day hopped on X shortly after Diddy released a video apologizing for his actions to criticize him for the clip.

"Diddy did not apologize to Cassie. He apologized to the world for seeing what he did," she tweeted.

Diddy was arrested and taken into federal custody in New York City on Monday on a grand jury indictment. Authorities arrested Diddy six months after his homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by Homeland Security during a criminal investigation.

Diddy's lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, released a statement on his client's arrest: "He is an imperfect person but is not criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court."
