Eminem, fresh off opening the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards with performances of “Houdini” and the Jelly Roll-featuring “Somebody Save Me,” has given fans what he’s billed as the Expanded Mourner’s Edition of his latest album, The Death of Slim Shady.

Notably, a new take on the track “Fuel,” the JID-featuring original version of which already saw Em bringing up the slew of allegations against Diddy, sees him revisiting the topic in an even more direct fashion. "Fuel (Shady Edition)" brings Westside Boogie and GRIP into the mix, with Em waiting until the third verse to ratchet up the energy.

Shortly after asserting that the late Ted Kaczynski (a.k.a. the Unabomber) would likely “feel” his music, the recent Complex cover star posed and immediately answered a question about who, exactly, he should target on this particular remix. From there, Em made his way to calling out Diddy by name by first mentioning the murders of Biggie and 2Pac.

'Fuel' remix, so who'll be picked next, whose name gonna be next up?
Notorious B.I.G.'s death was the domino effects of 2Pac's murder
Like facial tissue, whose clock should I clean next? Puff's?
'Til he's in police handcuffs, guilty, will he step up?
Like gee, never turned himself in, who knows all the murders there'll have been

Em is no stranger to this topic. The original edition of Death saw him referencing 2016 hotel surveillance footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie, who had previously accused the Bad Boy Records founder of abuse in a swiftly settled lawsuit in late 2023. Diddy later addressed the footage, saying he was “fucked up” at that point in his life.

“I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted,” Diddy said.

Over the past year, Diddy has been named in multiple lawsuits, as well as had two homes raided. He has denied the other allegations against him, including those from Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones. In a statement shared in August, a legal rep for Diddy called Jones’ lawsuit “pure fiction.”
