On the latest edition of The Stephen A. Smith Show, the ESPN host once again broached the subject of Diddy's arrest on sex trafficking and racketeering charges and suggested that people should "brace" for more celebrities to be implicated.

"I believe they’re after others, as well. … This is not going away, ladies and gentlemen," said Smith at the top of the episode, seen above. "I am praying that this man doesn’t find himself in a position where others are inevitably implicated and we see some of the people we love the most, stars we revered for years, producers and executives that we’ve known for years, implicated in all of this. Because the federal government is coming after everybody. We gotta brace ourselves, y’all.”

In the unsealed indictment, Diddy was accused of operating a "criminal empire" and and having "abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct." Smith suggested that the language used in the indictment, and the racketeering charge, suggests there's much we don't know about the case and who else might be involved.

“Diddy’s case is one thing, who they’re to squeeze him to implicate may be another," he continued. "One would surmise that if you have some information to offer about other folks, to incriminate them to make things lighter for you, things could get very, very interesting.”

He made similar comments about the Bad Boy Records founder when he spoke about his arrest earlier this week. He believed that he's "already been found guilty" when it comes to "the court of public opinion." He said the situation has gotten "very scary," and celebrities could be in trouble because some of them are high-profile friends of Diddy.

"I use the word ‘scary’ because I get the impression, to put it kindly, that his life ain’t the only life that’s gon’ be affected, that they ain’t after him just to get him," he said. "You got Homeland Security involved, you got the feds involved. I got news for you. They ain’t coming just for him. They coming for a whole bunch of people."

Elsewhere in the latest episode, he was joined by attorney Ryan Smith, whom he questioned about the judge's decision to reject Diddy's $50 million bail proposal.

“It seems like the judge was looking at this and saying, ‘If I did let you off and stay at home, you could commit the very crimes that prosecutors are alleging, and that’s the last thing I want to happen, no matter how much money you’re saying you’ll offer," he shared, noting that the so-called "freak-offs" are at the "core" of the case.

Two of Diddy's $50 million packages were rejected by the judge, both of which offered up his $48 million mansion in Miami as collateral. In the second offer, he said he would agree to not have any female visitors as he awaits trial, excluding family or the mothers of his children.
