Stone Island is gearing up to drop a new line for Spring/Summer 2023.
To create the range, the Italian imprint has utilised its heritage Mussola Gommata fabric, which is created by laminating a lightweight cotton muslin to a transparent polyurethane film, and then manually coloured on the inside. The airbrush effect can then be previewed on the garments outer layer, creating a unique and textured 3D finish.
Arguably the standout piece is the label’s own take on a classic windbreaker, while a second jacket arrives in a bike jacket structure with a standing collar and two snap fastening. Arriving in khaki and olive hues, the piece also features slanting hand pockets with hidden zip fastening, as well as a Stone Island badge and tightening snaps at the cuffs.
The collection also includes a selection of knitwear, sweatshirts and T-shirts which have been hand-sprayed to complete their design. Here, Stone Island’s crewneck takes centre stage, arriving with contrasting tones on the outside, a ribbed neckline, single chest pocket and a Stone Island badge on the left sleeve.
Check out the pieces below and keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming SS23 Hand-Sprayed collection at Stone Island.
