The temperatures outside are climbing and summer is almost here. So, there no better time to get some new ice. Plenty of our favorite celebrities decided to pay a visit to some of the best jewelers in the game to purchase some new custom pieces throughout May 2024.
ASAP Rocky hit up Alex Moss to Baby Milo-ify himself for a new chain, massively popular streamer IShowSpeed got a diamond version of soccer legend Ronaldo to wear around his neck, and Sexyy Red kept things classic for hew newest custom piece.
Take a closer look at some of this May 2024's best custom jewelry, below.
ASAP Rocky's 'Don't Be Dumb' Chain
Jeweler: Alex Moss
For one of his latest custom pieces, ASAP Rocky linked back up with Alex Moss. The jeweler created a pendant of Rocky in the signature art style of Bape's Baby Milo characters complete with pearl berets in his hair, sunglasses on his face, a bulletproof vest, and belt buckle to resemble the outfit he wore on stage during Rolling Loud Miami in July 2023. According to Alex Moss, the piece is made of 18-karat white gold and features VVS white, blue, brown, yellow, and black diamonds along with blue sapphires. Rocky had the chain around his neck while he was down in Miami with Rihanna celebrating his latest Puma F1 collaboration. Hopefully, that means the album will be here sooner than later.
IShowSpeed's $100,000 Ronaldo Chain
Jeweler: TimePieceTrading
IShowSpeed's obsession with Cristiano Ronaldo is no secret. He can often be seen in the soccer legend's Portugal jerseys and even has a painting of Ronaldo on the hood of his Lamborghini. In May 2024, Speed added another piece to his Ronaldo collection. TimePieceTrading, a fine jewelry boutique in Miami, made the popular streamer a $100,000 custom chain that features a diamond-encrusted pendant of Ronaldo hitting his "Siuu" celebration. It is made of 12 carats of VS1 diamonds and hangs from a 22-inch Cuban link chain with 28 carats of VS diamonds. It even came in a special display case that mimics a soccer stadium.

Jeweler: Gabby Elan
Ferg decided to pay homage to some of his loved ones who have died over the years with a new grill. Crafted by Gabby Elan, the eight-tooth top grill features enamel paintings of Takeoff, Virgil Abloh, ASAP Yams, and others on each tooth. Every portrait is outlined by an 18-karat yellow gold border. Ferg rocked the grill in his video for "MDMX" and also to the grand opening celebration of Ice Cold: An Exhibition of Hip-Hop Jewelry, a limited-time exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History celebrating three decades of hip-hop jewelry.
Lewis Hamilton's Pearl Rings
Jeweler: Alex Moss
Lewis Hamilton is one of the most decorated F1 drivers of all time. He's also one of the most stylish off the track. In May, he hit up Alex Moss for two custom rings. The first is dubbed "Garden of Purity." The band, which resembles vines is made of 18-karat white gold and VVS white diamonds. At the center sits a 1.73 carat South Sea Pearl, which is considered the most valuable type of pearl for its scarcity and long cultivation time (freshwater pearls take roughly 6 months to be cultivated, while South Sea Pearls take more than 3 years). The second ring was made in collaboration with designer Kamil Abbas. Dubbed the "Asteroid Ring," it features an 18-karat yellow gold ring with VVS white diamond craters throughout. A 3.2 carat South Sea Pearl is used at the center stone on this space-inspired creation.
Hamilton isn't shy about flexing his jewelry collection. Ahead of the Miami Grand Prix in early May, he protested the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile's jewelry ban that bars drivers from wearing any jewelry while racing by showing up to a press conference wearing eight rings and three watches. Clearly, he isn't letting the ban curb his buying habits.
Sexyy Red's Jesus Piece
Jeweler: Jewelry Unlimited
Sexyy Red has already racked up an impressive collection of custom jewelry that includes her signature "Big Sexyy" chain and even a gun-toting Hello Kitty. For her latest purchase, the St. Louis rapper kept it classic. Sexyy Red paid a visit to Atlanta's Jewelry Unlimited for her own Jesus piece. According to Jewelry Unlimited founder Wafi Lalani, the giant pendant is four inches tall, features 33 carats of VS diamonds, and hangs from a custom link chain.
