The Atlanta Falcons have reportedly settled on their next head coach but they're going to have to wait a week to make it official. That's because the man still has one more game to go in his current position.

After Super Bowl 49, Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is expected to head cross-country to fill the NFL's last HC vacancy.

Quinn has a tall task to fill with the Falcons who may've been the NFC South runners-up at 6-10 (remember, that division was terrible) but they also finished dead last in the entire league in yards per game (398.2). In contrast to that, Quinn's defense in Seattle was tops in the NFL at 267.1 ypg. No other team came close. The Falcons also finished sixth worst in points allowed, which is another category the Seahawks topped all their contemporaries in.

If nothing else, Atlanta's brass is clearly seeking to address their greatest flaw.

The move will not become official until February 2nd, the day after the Super Bowl.
