When it comes to the BasedGod, not everyone is lucky.

Updated 12/31/17 at 12:00 p.m. ET:

The person responsible for the Denver Nuggets' Twitter account messed up, big time. "Wait who's Lil B?" they said in a tweet they'll learn to regret in the near future. The Sacramento Kings' Twitter account immediately chimed in, making sure Lil B was aware of what had gone down. "Smh that's an automatic curse," they responded to the ill-advised and antagonistic tweet.

Smh that’s an automatic curse @LILBTHEBASEDGOD

Maybe their tweet was nothing but a bitter response to being left off Lil B's blessed teams list, but if you're upset about being left off this prestigious list, why would you shoot yourself in the foot like this?!

got you - Lil B

"WOW... NUGGETS...," Lil B responded after catching wind of the tweet. It seemed weird that Lil B would hold a warning over Kuzma, but it turns out he tweeted "Lil B worst rapper ever" back in 2011. Fortunately, Jordan Clarkson pleaded with the BasedGod, and he was forgiven.

WOW...NUGGETS....... - Lil B

Original story below.

Lil B’s curses on NBA players, over infractions big or small, are no laughing matter.

Lil B's original curse on James Harden for instance, not relinquished until June, may have caused the Houston Rockets to lose to the San Antonio Spurs in last season's semi-finals. Lil B jinxed Harden, because according to the rapper Harden stole his “cooking dance” without paying proper homage. However, Lil B’s two former curses on Kevin Durant didn't seem to affect the success of his favorite team, the Golden State Warriors.

In 2017, temperamental judge and curse distributor Lil B doled out a number of jinx and blessings on NBA players across the league. Now for the 2018 season, the BasedGod has announced his list of blessed teams via Twitter. The teams that received Lil B’s “THE BASEDGODS” blessing include: The Golden State Warriors, Portland Trail Blazers, Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings, Philadelphia 76ers, and the New York Knicks.

But teams not included on Lil B's list shouldn’t be alarmed. “JUST BECAUSE LIL B DID NOT PUT YOU ON THE SPORTS BLESSING LIST DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE NOT BLESSED,” the BasedGod explains in his next tweet. “EVERYONE STARTS WITH BLESSINGS FROM THE BASEDGOD.... BUT THINGS CAN BE TAKEN AND A CURSE BE BE INVOKED IN NEEDED.”

Even with this reassurance, some fans were still discouraged to not find their favorite team on the list.

Of course, the Lakers' absence from the list comes as no surprise, considering Lil B threatened to curse Lakers' player Lonzo Ball after he disrespected the rapper Nas in September. Although every team is starting off the season with blessings, Lil B sent out a curse warning to Lakers' player Kyle Kuzma and the Denver Nuggets.
