UPDATE: Champ Bailey Signs One-Day Contract With Broncos to Retire

Champ Bailey will retire with the team he's spent the majority of his career with.

Champ Bailey knew it was his time when he got cut by the Saints, the league's No. 24 in allowed passing yards. Quarterbacks and wide receivers everywhere in the league could rest slightly easier knowing that they'll no longer have Bailey's unshakeable coverage to worry about.

It doesn't look like Bailey is having much second thoughts about it. He's reportedly signing that one-day contract to the team he's made his name with: The Broncos.

No arguments here. Bailey was definitely one of the few (compared to the Elway years) spectacles the Broncos had last decade. The 36-year-old gets to leave on his own terms and a Hall of Fame induction in the future.
