In three short years, Travis Scott has put together an impressive run of sneaker collaborations. His work with Nike and Jordan Brand began in 2018 and has produced around a dozen retail releases so far.

Beyond the pairs that have hit stores, there are a handful of other friends-and-family exclusive and unreleased pairs that have been previewed by Scott and/or seen in leaked form. Whether it’s the obscure Jordan Trunners that preceded his Retro work, fantasy-like collabs with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design, or pairs that are rumored to drop soon like the British Khaki Air Jordan 6, you can learn about those and more here.

It’s also worth mentioning 2020’s Sony Playstation x Travis Scott x Nike Dunk, which was raffled off to the tune of five pairs in celebration of the Playstation 5 video game console release. Despite the scant numbers, the three-way Dunk collab was technically released, so you won’t find it on this list.

Jordan Trunner 'Cactus Jack'

This is my favorite Travis Scott sneaker, mainly because it doesn’t strike you as a Travis Scott sneaker. It’s also his first Jordan sneaker, dropping long before Travis Scott sneaker collaborations were a given thing that we’d see several times a year. The Trunner made a comeback in 2017 and Jordan Brand made a promo-only version of it for Travis Scott and those close to him. The Trunner, which first released in 2000, was the brand’s first cross-training sneaker and was endorsed by Derek Jeter. In 2001, Nike recalled over 400,000 pairs of the Trunner due to the metal piece on the heel cutting consumers. Travis Scott’s version featured earth tones and didn’t seem like a hype sneaker at the time, especially used on a model that a lot of his fan base wouldn’t know. The colorway, with its earth tones, reminded me of a Ronnie Fieg x Asics collaboration, especially how the sneaker was colorblocked. It would serve as the genesis for the rest of Travis Scott’s sneaker projects. —Matt Welty

Air Jordan 4 'Friends and Family Purple'

You might have Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4s, but they don’t look like this. The rapper worked with Jordan Brand on a version of Michael Jordan’s fourth signature sneaker, done in a light blue colorway inspired by the Houston Oilers’ uniforms, that released in June 2018, but it’s since been eclipsed by his other versions of the same shoe that never got a retail release. The other pairs, like this one in rich purple, are lusted over partly because of their resemblance to rare Jordan 4s of yore like the Eminem “Encore” pair and the mighty Undefeated collaboration. While some of the sneakers on this list could eventually be available for purchase, it appears that window has closed for this one, although increasingly questionable “friends- and- family” editions do still pop up on the secondary market occasionally. As for the legitimate pairs on secondary markets, those will run you upward of $20,000. —Brendan Dunne

Air Jordan 4 'Friends and Family Olive'

Like the purple pair, a few different variations of this olive Air Jordan 4 have been spotted in the wild. Despite the detail variances, the common thread is the olive, taupe-like nubuck upper. This pair first started popping up in 2018 after the official release of Travis Scott’s Houston Oilers-colored Jordan 4s, before shoes in this brownish shade really began trending the way they are now. While none of Scott’s friends-and-family versions are likely to release soon, fans came close last weekend with the Taupe Haze Jordan 4s. With a similar shade on the upper, comparisons between the Taupe Haze pair and the unreleased Cactus Jacks were quick to pop up on social media, and it’s not unrealistic to think the similarities helped drive some of the sell-out hype behind the Taupe Haze. Still, Scott’s version remains exclusive and is one of the strongest designs in his entire footwear resume—Riley Jones

Air Jordan 6 'Friends and Family Yellow'

Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 Mustard Release Date Profile

First appearing on the feet of La Flame, this pair of yellow Travis Scott Jordan 6s has had quite an interesting life. I specifically mention this pair because Offset recently revealed on Complex’s Sneaker Stories hosted by JLP that the pair you’ve seen is literally the only pair in existence. Offset said that he asked Travis for the sneakers and he gave them to him right off his feet. Since then, we have seen the Migos rapper wear them at 2019’s ComplexCon as well as at Astroworld Festival. Just like the retail pair, this unreleased version comes with a stash pocket for safekeeping and orange decals on its heel. The morning before I sat down to write this blurb, the Slack channel was talking about the best yellow sneakers in history and how frankly, there really are not that many contenders. Makes me wonder, if it ever saw a wide-scale release, would it top the list as the greatest yellow sneaker of all time? Side note: good thing Travis and Offset wear the same size. —Ben Felderstein

Air Jordan 6 'British Khaki'

Unlike the other pairs on this list, this British Khaki colorway of Travis Scott’s Air Jordan 6 is actually expected to release soon. While not yet confirmed, the new Jordan 6s are rumored to drop some time during Spring 2021. Thus far, the pair has been spotted on the feet of celebrity stylist and Cactus Jack acquaintance Bloody Osiris, but there haven’t been many detailed in-hand looks at the shoes. The updated version dials up the military inspiration with an added zipper pocket on the medial collar and features a translucent tongue and heel tab. And although we haven’t seen them in action, it’s a safe bet that this iteration features the same glow-in-the-dark outsole that was used on the olive colorway. With its on-trend yet safe earth tone shades, this new pair isn’t exactly daring, but it’s solid enough that it should keep Travis fans satiated until the next one. —Riley Jones

Fragment Design x Air Jordan 1 Low

This is one of those sneakers that feels like it was engineered in a lab to max out on hype levels. The base is an Air Jordan 1, a classic model that’s re-emerged in the past three years to become the most popular Air Jordan model, thanks most recently to its bizarre prevalence on TikTok. Then there’s the whole Travis Scott thing—you’re reading a list about all of his shoes that you can’t get access to, so the level of hype he brings shouldn’t need any explaining in this space. Then there’s the addition of Hiroshi Fujiwara’s brand Fragment Design, which played a part in re-establishing the Air Jordan 1 with its December 2014 collaboration in a similar colorway. That this pair is a low isn’t doing it any favors—the high is the preferred cut—but it’s still a sneaker that’s generated intense interest from the scant images of it available online. — Brendan Dunne

Fragment Design x Air Jordan 1 High

Travis Scott has enough fan support, energy, and influence to create a sneaker collaboration that will rival any drop of any year just on his own. Take his name and add a collaborative partner the likes of Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design into the mix, and you have yourself the potential for one of the most hyped collabs of all time. As it stands the Fragment x Air Jordan 1 is considered to be an all-time great, and now we have seen Scott wearing reverse-Swooshed versions of that pair in the same royal blue colorway. As far as this list goes, this is the newest pair on it, and no coincidence, it is the pair we know the least about. But one thing we do know is that if this mashup Jordan 1 ever sees an actual release, there will be countless L’s to go around from the dearly beloved SNKRS app. —Ben Felderstein

Air Jordan 1 High 'Reverse'

For many fans, there is no Travis Scott sneaker collaboration better than his Air Jordan 1. The velcro stash pocket. The reverse Swoosh. The chocolate brown suede that has now become a signature color for the rapper. It all comes together to make a version of a silhouette that is seen in abundance these days feel special. While plenty of people are paying thousands to own this version, surprise, Travis Scott has a more exclusive pair. Around the time that his single “Franchise” debuted back in September 2020, he was spotted in a new Air Jordan 1 colorway that flipped the colorblocking of the OG’s brown and cream upper. Of course, the reverse Swoosh remained. Some rumors have floated around that this sequel would eventually make its way to retail, but nothing has ever been confirmed. For now, it’s safe to assume these are staying in the vault. —Mike DeStefano

Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Bespoke'

There’s no sneaker that Travis Scott has worked on more than the Air Force 1, with three versions released to the public and an exclusive bespoke pair for himself. The latter was presumably done through Nike’s Bespoke program, although there are no official details on it. It looks like it was made to mimic the Undefeated x Nike Dunk High NL from 2005. But the sneakers, which Travis Scott revealed in 2018, had one major difference: they swapped the light blue toebox for yellow. The sneaker also has a much higher leather quality than the Air Force 1s that released at retail, with what appears to be bridle leather on the upper. The stitching on the heel of the shoe also matches a multicolored Louis Vuitton luggage item in the video that Travis Scott posted on Instagram. Out of all the unreleased Travis Scott sneakers, this pair is the most unlikely to make it to retail. —Matt Welty

Nike SB Dunk Low 'Sample'

It’s been said ad nauseam at this point, but there may have been no figure more important to Nike SB’s rise from the ashes than Travis Scott. Even random GRs from 2015 flip for hundreds of dollars these days, but the value really skyrockets if the colorway has been spotted on Travis Scott. Just look at the resell prices of Stüssy and Newcastle Dunks for proof. All this to say, the Houston rapper getting his own SB Dunk collaboration is one of the coolest moments of his Nike relationship so far. People went crazy over the retail version that came complete with tearaway paisley paneling and braided laces, but like every major Travis Scott collab a much more exclusive version is also out there. First shown off in March 2020 by the man himself, this variation has much less going on. It maintains a tan suede upper, but eliminates details like the plaid quarter panel and paisley fabric in favor of a pre-exposed lightning bolt print. Intentional or not, this sample almost looks like Travis Scott wanted to craft his own version of Supreme’s SB Dunk Lows from 2002, a classic in their own right. —Mike DeStefano
