Stone Island is injecting camouflage aesthetic into the recently revamped New Balance 991v2 for three tonal colorways, which are dropping soon.
This upcoming Stone Island x New Balance 991v2 collection includes green, beige, and black iterations, each inspired by the clothing brand's popular "Ghost" pieces. The sneakers feature a combination of mesh, premium nubuck, and leather on the uppers, and include Stone Island's Compass patch on the tongue tag. A full-length FuelCell midsole is equipped with Abzorb pods, wrapping up the design below.
It's worth noting that Stone Island and New Balance also collaborated on the 991v2 around this time last year, which featured a two-tone olive and black color scheme.
Readers will be able to cop this "Ghost" Stone Island x New Balance 991v2 collection starting on Sept. 18 in Japan. A second release will take place on Sept. 26 at Stoneisland.com and at select Stone Island and New Balance stockists.
