Nike Kobe 9 Elite "Hero" In Detail
Kobe's latest themed colorway is arriving to stores next week, with inspiration from pop art and comic book heros.

As part of the upcoming "Hero Collection" from Nike Basketball, despite the fact that Kobe isn't exactly taking part in any heroic moments during the current NBA Playoffs, this upcoming colorway of the Kobe 9 Elite pays tribute to the vivid hues and pop art found in classic hero-laden comic books.
With a grey Flyknit upper, the "Hero" Kobe 9 Elite is set off by accents of teal, purple and yellow throughout, and of course, the nine red stitch lines along the collar tying back to Kobe's current battle recovering from a torn Achilles.
Look for these to be hitting stores next week on Friday, May 9th.
