It appears that Jordan Brand is referencing a player-exclusive colorway for an upcoming Air Jordan 12 release.

Sneaker info leaker @zSneakerheadz on Instagram revealed that a “Field Purple” Air Jordan 12 is on the horizon for July 2023. There are currently no images of the retro available, but the mock-up from the leaker account suggests that it will resemble Gary Payton’s Air Jordan 12 PE from his tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2003-04.

The shoe is expected to don the OG-styled “Flu Game” color blocking, with a predominantly black upper, a purple mudguard, and gold accents, sans “The Glove” embroidery on the heel of the exclusive pair.

Per @zSneakerheadz, the “Field Purple” Air Jordan 12 makeup will be released on July 29, 2023 for $200.
