Shaq's signature sneakers are a pretty mixed bag—he's got certified classics with Reebok but things took a turn for the worse when he decided to launch his own budget line. It's not so much that the cheap models from the latter part of his shoe career are downright ugly, it's just that so many of them are ripoffs of existing models.
Take the above pair for example, which is clearly based on the Air Jordan 3. The Big Aristotle doesn't do the shoes any favors here, whiffing massively on a swing in a moment that doesn't make for the best Shaq Brand commercial.
Perhaps Shaq can take another cue from Michael Jordan's footwear and get the brilliant designers working on his shoes to at least update future pairs with spikes to make them more appropriate for the golf course. Heck, they've already got some slow-mo footage of his swing that they can use in whatever state-of-the-art research lab they've got pumping out stuff like this.
