Kobe Bryant's signature Nike line will continue beyond the Mamba's retirement with this, the Nike Kobe A.D. The shoe, officially unveiled on Tuesday, will make its debut on Nov. 22 for $160.
Bryant himself appeared at a Nike event in Los Angeles today where he spoke briefly about his and the brand's dedication to innovation with the line.
"It's the most important thing," Bryant said. "We don't start with the design, we don't start with the story. We don't start with anything. We simply start with innovation. How we can create the best possible basketball shoe that can help athletes be the best versions of themselves when they play. It's as simple as that."
Tech in the Kobe A.D. includes Zoom Air in the heel, Lunarlon in the midsole, and micro-tread traction on the outsole.
Bryant confirmed in April that his Nike signature line would extend past the Kobe 11, the model he played his last NBA game in.
