Last month, we were able to confirm with our sources that the "Concord" Air Jordan Retro 11 will indeed be making a return this holiday season. Continuing somewhat of a tradition of Retro 11s releasing during the holiday season, the announcement understandably caused quite a stir within the sneaker community. The question wasn't whether or not people were getting a pair, but rather how many they would try to get. Is it possible that one minor detail switch will make these even more sought after than before?

Taking a moment to reflect on the recent happenings in his life as a budding superstar musician, rapper Drake recently took to his blog to show off some of the perks that come with being the Prince of Young Money. In addition to a new sports car, a trip to Paris and being in attendance at Super Bowl XLV, Drizzy gave us a look at his Air Jordan Retro sneaker collection. Usual suspects like the "Grape" Retro 5, "Military" Retro 4, "Taxi" Retro 12 and "Flint" Retro 13 are all visible. However, one can't help but to notice the "icy" fresh pair of "Concord" Retro 11s sitting front and center in the picture, a pair that Drake singled out as his favorite.

A couple of key differences are instantly noticed on Drake's pair. One, the Jumpman is facing toward the rear of the heel, indicating that this is a newer production. Two, and most importantly, the use of the number '45' on the neoprene heel tab. As you know, the #45 "Concord" samples have been a high dollar collectible in the sneaker game for years. Is it possible that the Jordan 11 bearing MJ's return number will see a wide release this holiday season?

Let us know how you feel about the possibility of the Concords 'returning' with the number 45 on the heel below.
