After seventeen years, ten All-Star games and three NBA Finals appearances, Dallas Mavericks point guard Jason Kidd finally has that elusive NBA Championship on his career resume. At 38 years of age, Kidd was still an integral piece to Dallas' run bringing his signature ball movement to the table, as well as knocking down timely shots and playing some of the best defense of his career. In a season where we saw the end of Shaq's career and started to witness the decline of players like Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett, 90s era basketball heroes live to fight another day with Kidd's Finals triumph.
Though he never actually rocked them on the court (probably because of uniform color policy issues), here's a pair of Jason's PEAK Kidd III in a special NBA Finals colorway. The shoe is white-based and features metallic gold accenting. Chinese proverbs and characters appear on the collar and backside of the tongue, while the tongue is adorned with a custom Kidd logo.
