In addition to being one of the most popular colorways of the model, the "Bruce" Lee colorway of the Zoom Kobe V was one of the better executed concepts worked into a shoe. A fitting tribute to one of the individuals that Kobe pegs as an inspirational figure, the shoe featured a black and yellow base reminiscent of the bodysuit Lee wore in "The Game of Death." Red scratch marks near the lateral toe area were indicative of the chest wounds he suffered while fighting in "Enter the Dragon." Given the opportunity, what would Eric Avar and the Nike design team deliver as a follow-up? It looks like we'll find out soon.

According to the Nike Philippines Facebook site, on the release schedule for February is a Bruce Lee/Kato colorway of the Zoom Kobe VI Supreme. With the shoe already carrying a snake theme, there are endless possibilities for how this shoe could have been executed. Perhaps something that reflects his "Snake in the Road" fighting technique? No photos exist yet, but with a rumored February 1 release date, we should see something soon. Keep checking Sole Collector for updates.
