We didn't expect Kobe Bryant's offseason alternate sneakers to have much relevance for another month or so, but an unexpected early departure from the 2011 NBA Playoffs has sped of the process considerably. In addition to the KB 24, Kobe's signature model will be complimented by the release of another secondary Mamba shoe - the Venomenon.
In simple terms, the Kobe Venomenon is a takedown of the Zoom Kobe VI. This 'Lightbulb' colorway features a sleek black leather upper with embossed scale detailing near the toebox. White and metallic silver take care of branding on the quarter panels and touch up the heel counter, while a black and yellow patterned textile lines the interior. Finishing off the look below is a white midsole and yellow rubber outsole.
The Venomenon is available exclusively at overseas retail spots and a few online retailers like Kix-Files.
