An Official Look at the 'Rugged Orange' Nike Air Foamposite One
The Nike Air Foamposite One is set to debut in a bold 'Rugged Orange' colorway with Native American detailing on May 21.
The Nike Air Foamposite One will soon arrive in a bold new colorway that is drawing strong reactions to the already-divisive silhouette.
Dubbed "Rugged Orange," the shoe sports a bright orange Foamposite shell, with navy leather trim, yellow logo hits and a navy semi-translucent outsole. On the surface, you may find the colorway to be reminiscent of the "We Believe" era Golden State Warriors uniforms. However, Native print along the pull-tabs and insoles could link these to Nike's N7 program, which has strong ties to Oklahoma City and the Thunder. Of course, the Thunder introduced a similarly colored "Statement" uniform last year.
Whatever the theme on this pair is (Nike hasn't officially announced these yet), the wait to secure a pair won't be long. The "Rugged Orange" Foamposites are slated to release on Thursday, May 21 for $230.
