What Amar'e Stoudemire started in New York City last summer continued when a mid-season trade sent All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony to join him as the new faces of the New York Knicks. With Melo's arrival, not only is there a renewed since of relevance at Madison Square Garden, but a plethora of new marketing opportunities to boot. Several of those opportunities are being provided by the Jordan Brand, who continues the celebration of Melo's move to New York with the release of four Big Apple exclusive Melo M7 colorways.

First, we have the Jordan Melo M7 Advance in home and away New York Knicks playoff colorways. The Melo M7 Advance takes the general concept of the shoe to a new level with the implementation of Flywire construction throughout the upper.

Next up, two colorways of the Future Sole Melo M7, designed by 2010 contest winner Allen Largin. The "Syracuse" colorway Melo wore against the Detroit Pistons last season will be released, as well as the Puerto Rico-inspired red, white and blue pair.

All four Melo M7s will be released in New York City on Wednesday, August 24th. The M7 Advance will drop at House of Hoops and Niketown NYC, while the Future Sole M7s will be sold exclusively at House of Hoops.
