Back in June, we gave you a preview of two additional Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose signature shoes slated to drop as part of adidas' Spring/Summer 2011 line. The names assigned to those shoes were the Super Beast and the adiZero Rose 1.5. Courtesy of RegularOlTy, we now have our first detailed look at the Rose 1.5. The shoe is expected to be Rose's All-Star and second half of the season sneaker.

The most noticeable feature of the Rose 1.5 is the 360-Degree ClimaCool ventilation system. Most of the new adidas Basketball models have focused on both shedding weight and improving breathability, something that the 1.5 appears to hold true to. Most of the tooling remains the same, including the SprintFrame lockdown heel. One could also assume that this shoe makes use of the adidas GeoFit padded collar. It'll be interesting to see if the 1.5 undergoes changes like the adiZero Rose did before it hit retail. Perhaps the addition of a SpeedWrap-friendly collar. While there's no official date, we should expect these to release somewhere around or after the 2011 NBA All-Star Game. Are you a fan of this shoe? Is it an improvement over the adiZero Rose?
