With the NBA All-Star Game returning to sunny Los Angeles next weekend, adidas has partnered up with Snoop Dogg for a new footwear collection. In addition to the Snoop-designed Freemont Mid we showed you last month, the Long Beach emcee has gotten his paws on the new adiPure basketball shoe from adidas, and his Laker love is more evident than ever.
An extremely bold purple patent leather upper gets help from reflective metallic silver stripes on the side panels. Laker gold works trim along the ankle, heel and adiPrene cushioned midsole, as well as the tongue and laces. The animated eyes from the Doggystyle album cover appear on the lateral heel, while a replica Snoop signature pops off the stripe. Finishing off the look below is a translucent purple outsole.
