Shaquille O’ Neal has confirmed that it’s not him in a recent viral picture that’s making its rounds all over social media.

After influencer Maria Ozuna Teachey allegedly posted a selfie with a large man on Instagram this week, some focused on the size of the man behind her and assumed that it was Shaq.

TMZ reports that when Worldstar posted the selfie and speculated whether it was him or not, Shaq hopped in the outlet's comments on Instagram to say “Nope not the kid.”

Teachey has since deleted the post so we can’t fully verify its existence — but in what could be seen as a way of addressing the situation, she posted a recent video telling people "not to believe everything you see.” Teachey had not returned Complex's request for comment by the time of writing.

Probably in jest, Shaq also posted a slideshow with pictures of himself with different women, seemingly referencing the situation. "Is this my girlfriend too, trust me I’ll let yall know who my woman is, and by the way my woman name is Shaqirah," he captioned the post.

Earlier this year, Shaq made headlines after his ex-wife Shaunie Henderson wrote in her new book Undefeated: Changing the Rules and Winning On My Own Terms that she questions how real their relationship was.

"Looking back, I don’t know that I was ever really in love with the man, but I was in love with the idea of being married to the man I had a family with," Henderson wrote. "I was in love with the idea of building a life together. I truly did enjoy spending time with him. [NBA] road trips allowed me to be with my husband and experience the NBA life for a little while."

Shaq responded to the reveal with an Instagram post addressing Shaunie’s feelings. “I understand… I wouldn’t have been in love with me either. Wishing you all the best..All love. Shaq,” he wrote.
