Let’s recap. Earlier this week, Sharpe “accidentally” went live on Instagram in the middle of a steamy encounter. With the camera facing the ceiling, the NFL legend and podcast host could be heard in the background huffing, puffing, and presumably blowing a house down.

As he was having his fun, a woman’s voice could also be heard, making it clear to everyone what was going on. When Sharpe breathlessly panted the name “Michelle” during the encounter, it sent the world on an internet manhunt to determine who could be the mystery lady that Sharpe was under the covers with.

On his Nightcap podcast, Sharpe revealed that he wasn’t hacked. “Obviously I am embarrassed. Someone that is extremely, extremely private and to have one of your most intimate details — the audio — heard for the entire world to hear, I’m embarrassed for a number of reasons,” he said.

He also detailed exactly what happened for anyone who perhaps didn’t understand the full picture. "I threw my phone on the bed, engaged in an activity," he said. "I did not know IG live. I’ve never turned IG live on so I don’t know how it works and all of sudden my other phone started going off."

Everyone had fun laughing about the situation online including Rick Ross, who posted a video forgiving Sharpe for his antics. “Shannon Sharpe, now, we forgive you ’cause we know you old niggas don't know how to work that technology," joked the rapper in the video.. "You was vibin' with your little jawn last night, you were trying to film it, and when you tried to sit that motherfucker down on that little dresser, that motherfucker went live.”
