Billy McFarland, founder of Fyre Fest, wants 50 Cent to be the headliner because it’ll be more beneficial with him than with Ja Rule.

TMZ spoke to McFarland about the upcoming event, getting him to reveal that the location of the festival will be a remote island near Mexico’s Caribbean coast. He also started talking about who he wants to perform at it.

“Next week’s problem is booking the talent,” he said. “We really wanna make sure it’s across all genres, so some electronic, some hip-hop, some rap, and of course the pop and the rock. We’re working through it now.”

McFarland then revealed that instead of working with Ja Rule again, he prefers to work with his arch enemy 50 Cent instead. “I’m actually gonna try to call 50 Cent later today and come and see if he’ll headline Sunday night … We gotta give 50 Cent the spot so he can do what Ja Rule never could,” said McFarland.

Due to the epic failure of the first Fyre Festival, McFarland served more than three years in prison while his co-founder Ja Rule was cleared of any wrongdoing.

50 Cent’s busy enough creating his own festivals, so the jury’s out whether he decides to take up McFarland on his offer. However, if he’s as petty as he makes himself out to be, this would be a great way to poke fun at Ja Rule amidst their years-long beef.

The latest chapter of their spat happened after Ja Rule announced that he wasn’t able to get into the United Kingdom for a series of tour dates. On X, he explained how he spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to put his tour together and was upset that due to his criminal history, he wasn’t allowed into the country.

50 Cent was quick to respond to Ja Rule’s announcement because people everywhere joked that he had something to do with his opp not being able to get into the U.K. “HaHaHahahaha I did not have nothing to do with this b!tch not getting in. LOL,” he wrote in an Instagram caption.
