Rubi Rose Says Druski Relationship Was Staged and He Paid for PR Stunt: ‘I Only Give It Up If I’m in Love’
Rubi Rose has officially spoken on her publicized tie-up with Druski, but claims that they weren't dating.
Despite going public about their "breakup," Rubi Rose claims that she and actor-comedian Druski never dated.
On Tuesday (September 16), it was during a spur-of-the-moment tangent on X that the "Deserve to Die" artist addressed her ties to Druski while not mentioning him by name.
"And for the record i never slept with that man, n***a paid for PR. Not the pussy," Rose began.
Adding that Druski is "funny and nice," Rose then described how she moves while being in a relationship. "I only give it up if I’m in love, ion care how much money a nigga got. I’m rich asf lol," she concluded.
Druski would respond on his Instagram Stories, with an image of his face superimposed on the character of Alvin Johnson (played by Nick Cannon) from 2003 romantic comedy Love Don't Cost a Thing. In the film, Johnson pays his high school classmate, Paris Morgan (Christina Milian) to date her in order to become popular.
But in past social media posts of Druski and Rubi, as the two appeared to be cozied up, whether to take a baecation to the Dominican Republic together in the spring or Rose attempting to cook for the former Grown-ish star.
In June, Rose would tell digital creator Rambo that she's single. This comment was followed by Druski visiting Atlanta radio station V-103, where he claim that he couldn't keep up with Rose's expensive lifestyle.
"Coming out of that, you better have them pockets ready," Druski said on what he learned from the relationship.
In a post-interview Instagram Story, Druski would say that he was "trolling" and that Rose "spent more money than him" while they were romantically linked.
