Jerry Seinfeld’s Netflix Comedy Special Gets a New Trailer
'Seinfeld' will also come to Netflix in 2021.
Netflix has released a new trailer for Jerry Seinfeld’s comedy special 23 Hours to Kill.
This is the stand-up/sitcom icon’s first original special since 1998. It arrives on May 5, well before Netflix becomes the new home of Seinfeld in 2021. The trailer features moments from Jerry's stand-up, which was shot at New York’s Beacon Theatre.
Earlier this month, Netflix released a teaser where Seinfeld impersonated James Bond in a spoof of Goldfinger. In addition to Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours to Kill, the streaming service is also home to the 2017 special Jerry Before Seinfeld and the 66-year-old's interview series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Netflix paid $500 million for the streaming rights to Seinfeld, which ran for nine seasons from 1989 to '98
