Actor and comedian Faizon Love has expressed concern regarding Diddy's arrest on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

In a post originally shared on Instagram, Faizon addressed the charges and very serious allegations against the disgraced Bad Boy Records founder. "I need y'all to help me," he started the video, which can be seen below. "We all heard about Puffy and I see a lot of people... I'm confused. The Cassie thing I understand, I definitely think we should lock this n***a up, putting hands on a young lady. But I don't understand the other shit. Can y'all help me? When has being nasty been a federal crime?"

Faizon referenced the mention in the indictment of over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant being seized from Diddy's properties during the federal raids earlier this year. "I didn't know there was a limit on baby oil," he continued. "I'm getting a few here because we get ashy... Please tell us the new rules for n***as."

He then referenced the case of boxer Jack Johnson, who was the first Black heavyweight champion. The boxer was an influential figure who garnered fame at the height of the Jim Crow era, which ultimately made him a target. He was arrested for allegedly transporting a woman across state lines in 1912, a move that was criticized as racially charged because he was in a relationship with a white woman.

"They couldn't stop this Black man, so they gave him trafficking," Faizon continued. "Make it make sense, we need to know the new rules! Can't take anybody on vacation, can't take anybody to Vegas... Damn sure don't bring 'em to Atlanta. I need y'all to help me because I don't know the new rules, please tell me what was illegal."

In the 14-page indictment unsealed on Tuesday, September 17, Diddy was accused of transporting alleged sex workers across state lines to engage in prostitution. He was also accused of "knowingly" carrying out a series of actions that could be constituted as sex trafficking, notably doing so "by force, fraud, and coercion," according to prosecutors.

Diddy has maintained his innocence and claimed that all the women he engaged in these alleged acts with did so consensually. On Wednesday, September 18, he lost his bail appeal due to the judge's belief that Diddy is a flight risk or a potential danger to the case due to the risk of witness tampering.

Faizon Love isn't the only celebrity to voice concern about the arrest. Boosie Badazz made similar comments in a pair of tweets earlier this week, in which he suggested that there are plenty of celebrities in the music industry guilty of engaging in the same acts.

"I feel Diddy [in] jail for basically doing what every other famous entertainer has done 'flew bitches out for 3 somes' he just freakier," he wrote. "We actually go call women prostitutes who fly [and] willingly to be with they partners for sex? If thats the case if u been flewed ✈️ out [and] had sex you should be labeled a prostitute ‼️"
