Police in North Dakota underwent the bizarre experience of arresting a man who was driving a Zamboni while intoxicated last week.
The Smoking Gun reports that officers responded to a call about a man possibly operating the machine, used for resurfacing ice, while under the influence. Upon arriving at Fargo's South Sports Arena, police confirmed that 27-year-old Stephen Anderson was, in fact, wasted while maneuvering with the machine during a high school hockey contest. He was ultimately charged with driving under the influence.
According to the Smoking Gun, this is Anderson's second DUI since December. However, the last one involved a more conventional vehicle: a car.
