WWE wrestler Dean Ambrose is going to star in a Hollywood action movie. Presumably, all of the scenes will require him to point directly at the camera and say things like "I'm coming for you" and "come Monday night, that belt is mine."

OK, that second part was made up, but the WWE star, whose real name is Jonathan Good, will play the lead role in the movie directed by Tomb Raider: Ascension director Stephen Reynolds.

Ambrose has been extremely popular as part of the WWE, where he's known as a member of the group The Shield.

Variety broke the news, reporting that the film "follows a police officer who finds himself trapped inside his own precinct and hunted after crooked cops stop at nothing to recover incriminating evidence of illegal activities against those closest to him."

The movie is the second feature in a six-picture deal between the WWE and Lionsgate films. The first movie to come out of the partnership was Vendetta, starring wrestler the Big Show.

The six-movie deal was inked in May and touted as a way to get WWE wrestlers into starring movie roles, while also giving Lionsgate an easy avenue to promote the movies through the WWE's TV broadcasts.

If it lives up to this precedent, we'll be satisfied.
