Last month there was a number of rumors spreading about Gucci Mane’s imminent release from prison, but unfortunately those turned out to be false. It previously said on the Federal Bureau of Prisons website that Gucci Mane’s release date is March 2017 after the rumors started surfacing, but now it says that his release date is September 20. This means his release date has been bumped up from the original March 6 of 2017 release date.

To celebrate the welcome earlier release, it was announced on Gucci Mane’s Twitter that he’ll be touring as soon as he gets out of prison. A booking contact was tweeted out, meaning that if you just so happen to own a music venue you’ll be able to book Gucci Mane to play your venue later this year. The tour is to be titled the “Gucci & Friends Tour,” and while there’s no other information available right now, it shouldn’t be too much longer until we find out more about the future tour.

Considering how much material he’s released since he’s been in jail, it looks like he’ll have a lot of new tracks to perform for those lucky enough to see him perform. Check out his profile from the Federal Bureau of Prisons website below.
