Even though he's been incredibly busy on tour in support of Views, Drake has somehow found time to record new music, too. On the latest stop of his Summer Sixteen tour, Drake let fans know that he's already working on the follow-up to Views. During his show at the Tacoma Dome in Washington on Friday (September 16), Drake told the audience, "I've been on this tour. I'm recording new music."

Detailing the recording process further, he said, "I'm about six, maybe seven new songs in. Just getting warmed up. I don't know what I'm going to do with it, I don't know what it's going to be, but what I do know is I can't wait to come back to the mother fucking Tacoma Dome and perform all that shit for y'all." Views is one of the biggest albums of the year so far, so it seems smart for Drake to jump back in the studio as quickly as possible to deliver a follow-up.

Drake has supposedly also been working on a joint album with Kanye West, with Kanye confirming that they've been working on something together, but it's not entirely clear what will come out of those studio sessions if anything. Kanye said, "We're just working on music, working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio."
