Adele is Going on Tour for the First Time in Five Years

November 26, 2015

Adele hasn’t been on tour in a rather long time, but with the insane success of her newly released album, 25, she’d be crazy not to. Having turned down countless big offers to play huge shows and festivals, Adele will embark on a European tour next year from February onwards. Starting with two dates in Belfast, the 36 date tour will culminate with a set of dates in Antwerp, Belgium. No word on whether she’ll make her way stateside yet, but with her continued success it seems highly likely.

Taking to Facebook to announce the tour with pretty funny video of her in-front of a map of Europe, Adele showcased a considerably happier side to herself in the brief but entertaining video. It’s also worth noting that 25 officially broke UK first week sales, surpassing Oasis’ previous record with 696,000 units for Be Here Now. Selling 737,000 during its opening week in the UK, 25 is taking off worldwide and shattering record after record.

Watch Adele’s announcement video above, and check out the dates below. Tickets for the UK dates will go on sale on her website on December 1 before going on general sale later on December 4.
