BadBadNotGood are currently prepping to release their forthcoming album IV on July 8 via Innovative Leisure. A few weeks ago, the band shared “Time Moves Slow” alongside Sam Herring of Future Islands. Now they return with another track taken from their new album.

Today, BBNG shared “Confessions Pt. II” featuring additional saxophone from Colin Stetson. The last single was a slow-building, mesmerizing track that matched the sultry tone of Herring’s vocals. This time around, they deliver a track that veers in a very different direction. “Confessions Pt. II” is a nearly seven minute long jazzy track that feels like a sneak peak inside one of their jam sessions. With these two singles as previews, it’s safe to assume IV will feature a wide range in sound and inspiration.
