St. Vincent can do anything: First she designed a guitar, then she was a waitress at a taco restaurant, and now, she’s decided to write and direct a horror movie.

Her film will be part of a larger project from Magnolia Pictures subsidiary Magnet Releasing, titled XX, which will feature “four deadly tales by four killer women.” There’s no word yet on exactly how St. Vincent will approach the film, but her film will be produced by Roxanne Benjamin, and according to a press release, “the directors have been given free creative rein within budget and time constraints.”

St. Vincent shared a promotional image for the movie and wrote that she is “so thrilled to be able to explore the genre.” If St. Vincent is as capable at filmmaking as she is at compiling mixtapes, then this is one to look forward to.
