Will Smith is Rapping Again on Bomba Estéreo's "Fiesta" Remix
The Fresh Prince makes a return.

Even with constant reruns of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air appearing o multiple channels on a daily basis, somehow it still seems difficult to remember mega movie star Will Smith used to be a rapper. Probably even harder to remember that DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince were also the first artists to win a Grammy in the rap category. But it’s more terrifying to think that some kids might actually only really know Will Smith as Jaden and Willow’s dad now.
It’s been a decade since his last album Lost and Found, and its lead single “Switch.” So it appears that Will Smith has made return to to his roots to remind us all that he does rap too, from time to time. Smith recently hopped on the remix of Colombian group Bomba Estéreo’s track “Fiesta.” The founder of the group said in a statement, “When I was told that Will Smith wanted to collaborate on a remix with Bomba, I couldn’t believe it. This opportunity to work with Will was beyond anything we have dreamed of… It’s just magic.”
Say what you want, but this is a pretty fun song. Kicking it off with a line like, “Hola mamacita, go get me a beer-a” definitely made that clear. Is this a preview of more music to come from Will Smith, or is this just something he did for fun? Who knows. It’s hard to tell with the Smith family. Either way, enjoy the fun track below.
