Megan Thee Stallion’s new collab with BTS’ RM has become the official theme song of WWE's Smackdown.

Along with revealing a new Smackdown logo, the WWE announced that “Neva Play” will be the song featured in the program’s intro. Megan responded to the news with a suggestion that she might even appear in the ring soon. “I think it’s finally time I make my debut,” she wrote on X.

This signals a big change in the WWE. Its program, WWE Smackdown, ended its run on FOX last week and will now air on the USA Network. The reveal of Megan’s new song, and the new show’s logo preface its upcoming premiere episode for its new season.

“Neva Play” is the latest popular song that the wrestling company has used in its promotions. Over the years, artists like The Weekend (“Blinding Lights”) and Pitbull (“Green Light)” have had their songs used by the WWE for Wrestlemania.

Megan released the song earlier this month, telling fans that the verse that RM gave her was one of her personal favorites from him. In her words, she’s “never heard him rap in this style before.”

Before the release, Megan teased their high profile collab starting in late August. She tweeted out a series of emojis that included a horse (for stallion) and purple heart (that represents BTS). It became official when BTS reposted Megan’s announcement with the words “Coming Soon!”

Their collaboration followed her previously teaming up with the popular K-pop group for the remix of their hit song “Butter” in 2021.

Last week, Megan hosted and performed at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards — pulling off double duty gracefully and making the show a very Megan-centric affair. She performed a medley of “Boa,” “B.A.S.,” “Hiss,” and "Mamushi” — which featured a scene-stealing appearance from Yuki Chiba.
