Future’s new album Mixtape Pluto could continue his streak of #1 albums if its first week projections are true.

Chart Data reports that the rapper’s latest project is projected to debut at the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart with 120,000-135,000 units sold in the first week. This’ll be Future’s 11th #1 album if so.

Future is on a hot streak. He’s already had two No. 1 debuts in 2024 so far and, if the new album does go #1, it’ll be the first time an artist got a trio of Billboard 200 chart-toppers in less than six months.

The two #1s that he had earlier this year were both with Metro Boomin: We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You.

‘Mixtape Pluto’ is Future’s first solo full-length project since releasing I Never Liked You in 2022 (which earned him a Grammy nomination) — an LP that sold 222,000 units in its first week and is certified Platinum. It features the two songs “Too Fast” and “Lil Demon” that he teased earlier this year.

One interesting thing about ‘Mixtape Pluto’ is that it’s a true solo project with zero features. Previously, Future teased high profile collabs with artists like Travis Scott on the song “South Of France” — only for him not to appear on the final listing.

Future was recently caught on camera getting annoyed at an excited fan yelling in his face.

While attending Milan Fashion Week, Future met a fan who had trouble hiding how excited he was to meet him. As the fan talks to Future from behind a camera while the rapper sits in the car, Future’s initial smile turned into annoyance at how loud the person was being.

“Appreciate you, man,” said the rapper. “What are yelling for? Chill.”

The fan stopped yelling.
