Fivio Foreign Responds to Backlash After Posting Video of Someone Using Hard Drugs: ‘I Ain’t Glorifying That Sh*t’
The rapper posted a video to X where a man close to him can be seen being injected by what appears to be heroin.
Fivio Foreign has a response to people uoset with him for posting a video of someone using hard drugs.
To backtrack, the rapper recently posted a video on X of him near someone shooting what appears to be hard drugs into someone else’s arm. In the caption of the video, Fivio said that a show that he had in Philadelphia was canceled, so he hopped out onto the streets instead.
In the video, while the man is taking the drugs, Fivio shows off his watch while someone yells “dog food” — which is known on the street as other name for heroin.
After receiving backlash for posting the video, Fivio spoke out against the people that were criticizing him — saying not to be upset because he wasn’t glorifying the situation.
“We watch this shit everyday on Documentaries..,” he wrote. “Don’t get mad at me I ain’t glorying that shit..maybe this ah open yah eyes to why we rap try to get up out this shit.. Or just get up off yo ass and help clean I’m really 1 of people who help.”
Fivio’s video and response are the second time this month that he’s made headlines. Previously, it was for endorsing Donald Trump for president with Kodak Black on the track “ONBOA47RD.”
Fivio’s been pretty big on his public support of Trump. A few weeks ago, he announced that he would be “linking up w Trump inna couple days” on X. He then asked fans what he should talk about with Trump when he meets him.
"Ok what’s the 1 question yall want me to ask Trump when I see him?" Fivio wondered. "I was gon ask if the earth flat.. but fucc dat, Im deff asking bout the Aliens."
In case you’re thinking he’s a new supporter…he isn’t. Back in 2019 in his video for “Big Drop,” he featured a man wearing a custom Make America Great Again hat.
