Cardi B is speaking out against the claims that her and Offset filmed a music video at a luxury mansion without paying.

To recap, a Beverly Hills mansion owner claims, in court documents obtained by TMZ, that reps for the rap power couple told the property owner that an unnamed client wanted to film a TikTok video at the home. Per the outlet, the mansion in question is featured in Cardi B's March music video for "Like What (Freestyle)," which Offset directed.

Per the court documents, the owner let Cardi and Offset shoot at the home for free — but if he knew the truth about actually shooting for a music video, he admits he wouldn't have waived the usual short-term rental fee. The mansion owner is seeking $35,000 in damages.

Responding to the lawsuit on X, Cardi posted a lengthy explanation confirming that the mansion owners had been paid. She also expressed her belief that they are trying to scam her, arguing that the owner was aware of the situation and it was clear a music video was being shot, not a social media clip.

“We paid those people $10,000 IN CASH to rent the property for a whole 24 hours that same day 6am to 6am the next morning and we went over by ONE hour which we paid overage fees to the realtor for in March,” she wrote.

“There was cameras all over and both the realtors and the owners was there the ENTIRE time… I got pics and videos of them on set!! Now they wanna finesse us trying to say we told them it was a TikTok video when that was nowhere in the contract and like they didn't hear the whole song playing and see how long we was shooting….Why would it take us 24 hours to shoot a TikTok?”

“The problem is people wanna find loopholes and get over but IRON YOUR BEST SUIT BITCH I’ll see you in court!!!!,” she continued.

The Invasion of Privacy rapper added that "this is not the realtors fault…they been trying for months to settle this. Its them greedy owners wit their ugly ass house."

Cardi celebrated the birth of her third child earlier this month. Although her and Offset are going through a divorce, he was in attendance for the birth.

In recent days, Cardi has returned to working out — even telling fans “I’m dying” as she gets reacclimated cardio and fitness. “Remember ladies, this is my third baby,” Cardi wrote as a caption to a clip of her going hard in the gym. “With my other two babies, I was still on bedrest on my first week postpartum.”
