"Dancing in the Flames," the video for which was shot entirely on the iPhone 16 Pro, is the first taste of the upcoming Hurry Up Tomorrow, which follows 2022’s Dawn FM. The video, directed by Anton Tammi, was teased earlier this week during Apple’s latest Cupertino event. The 16 Pro, notably, is capable of putting the power of 4K 120fps Dolby Vision video in the hands of artists of all ages and levels.

In press notes, Erik Henriksson, who served as director of photography on the newly-released new video, said the latest Apple lineup addition "is starting to erase the line" between so-called pro cameras and everyday devices.

"I think this is really, really going to help young filmmakers coming up," Henriksson said via email.

When announcing the title for his new album, Abel gave fans some insight into the personal importance of this particular chapter, and hinted at what it could mean within the larger journey he first kicked into motion with House of Balloons back in 2011.

“I look in the mirror and feel both old and new, stuck in limbo and unable to move,” he wrote. “I still haven’t faced myself.”
