4batz’s unique position among today’s musical landscape is further solidified with a new, long-teased track featuring Lil Baby.

Released today after first being previewed more than a month ago, “roll da dice” sees the two pondering moving an unnamed romantic interest out to Texas, notably with a “fuck all your exes” level of confidence. As previously reported, 4batz, whose Ye-featuring debut project u made me a st4r was highlighted by Complex as one of the best releases of 2024 so far, gave fans an intimate look at his own Texas upbringing in a recent interview with Apple Music.

In May, 4batz spoke with Jordan Rose for Complex, resulting in an interview in which he opened up even more about his earliest Dallas memories and the music-driven talents of his family. Loss has also played a part in his process, as the 20-year-old “lost my pops” in 2023.

“When he died, I just stopped giving a fuck about everything,” 4batz said at the time. “I just stopped caring about how people felt. I stopped caring about how people saw me.”

This December, 4batz is on the lineup for Rolling Loud Miami. Future, Travis Scott, and Playboi Carti are headlining the three-day December festival, which also features 4batz's "roll da dice" collaborator Lil Baby on the lineup.
