BRELAND has kicked off a new chapter in his career by releasing a new single titled "Icing." You can stream it here.

On Friday, the 29-year-old blessed fans with the new single, an upbeat country music banger that finds him singing about wanting to be with a woman he met who checks off all the boxes. In a press release, Breland spoke about blending a country song with different elements from other genres to make a song like "Icing."

"I've always loved playing around on the periphery of Country music, and 'Icing' has all my favorite flavors of Southern Gospel with an old-school Soul flare," shares BRELAND. "It was a simple concept – this woman has everything you could want; work ethic, faith, a good head on her shoulders, she's even got a 401k. The fact that she's got cake is just the icing. Once I hit that run at the end of the chorus, I knew I had to follow it up with a proper SCREAM, because this song is pure energy to me."

"Icing" will be featured on BRELAND's upcoming Project 2024EP set to release Oct. 18. The EP has six tracks and one feature from The War And Treaty.

Last month, BRELAND tore the house down at the Verizon Speakeasy Concert Series in partnership with Complex.
