Ariana Grande’s Boyfriend Ethan Slater Reaches Divorce Settlement With Ex-Wife

Ariana Grande's boo Ethan Slater has officially divorced from his ex, Lilly Jay, after reaching a settlement.

According to new court documents obtained by TMZ, the divorce was finalized on Thursday. The former couple reached a settlement, which was approved by a judge, making the divorce official. The reason for the split was not disclosed, and the settlement was sealed under New York state law.

Slater and Jay began dating in 2012 and were married by November 2018. They welcomed their one and only child in August 2022. However, their marriage ended the following year, with Slater filing for divorce.

News of the divorce filing came after TMZ reported that Slater had been seeing Grande, who had also separated from her ex-husband Dalton Gomez in 2023. They kept their relationship under wraps until being spotted embracing one another while having dinner at New York City's Mandarin Oriental Hotel in October.

"They are just trying to navigate their new relationship in private," a source told People last year.

They have continued to appear in public together, with Grande supporting Slater during his first performance in the "Spamalot" revival on Broadway. The couple was also seen attending the Stanley Cup Finals together in June. Fans are expecting to see more of Grande and Slater as they go on a promo run when their upcoming film Wicked, which is set to be released in November.
