Among one of Snoop Dogg's nine rules for life: to keep five prerolls daily.

To accompany the West Coast rap icon's new People cover story, Snoop shared some advice in a seven-minute segment, the first tip, of course, being May Jane-related.

"Rule number one: What do I never leave home without? Five blunts rolled up in the bag already ready to go. Pre-roll!" the 52-year-old began.

When asked about what he'd tell "novice smokers," Snoop joked that he didn't know what 'novice' meant. When the People crew said "novice" could also mean "amateur," Snoop joked, "Okay, but say that. Just use that word."

He continued, "All that trying to be smart– if you don't break down that regular word for me. 'So this novice of...' What the fuck?"

But according to Snoop, if you aren't a regular smoker, don't go all-in just yet.

"Advice to you amateurs: stay in your lane," he said after taking a puff. "Keep the bib around your neck. Do not try to outgrow the bottle. Wait your turn."

Although Snoop Dogg once pulled a prank on going 'smokeless,' the only person he's almost put the blunt down for is probably Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney. The two met in April while backstage at a Hollywood Bowl performance.

“I put the blunt out. Cuz walks in the room like, ‘Don’t put that down,'" Snoop told Complex. "He give me a hug and he meets me, and it’s like, ‘Fuck. Paul McCartney knows who the fuck Snoop Dogg is.’"

Snoop, owns marijuana brands Death Row Cannabis and Leafs by Snoop, and opened his first dispensary, S.W.E.D. in July, has gotten his blunts professionally rolled by Rana Samarghandi, also known as Renegade Piranha, since 2016.
