Kid Cudi classic "Day 'n' Nite" just got even bigger.

Thanks to the single being a hit upon its 2008 release and gaining some new fanfare courtesy of TikTok soundbites, "Day 'n' Nite" received a Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) diamond certification on Friday (Sept. 13).

Last August, the song was listed as eight times multi-platinum, moving 10 million digital certified units. "Day 'n' Nite" peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 3, later being nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Solo Performance at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. Both categories would be won by Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Rihanna for their "Run This Town" collaboration.

But a win is a win, and along with "Day 'n' Nite," Cudi's past hits "Up Up & Away" and "Pursuit of Happiness (Nightmare)" were given two-times multi-platinum and five-times multi-platinum certifications, respectively. The Trap star reacted to the "Day 'n' Nite" news on X, showing appreciation to his day one fans.

"Wow, the blessings keep comin. This is HUGE," he wrote. "Yall did this man, im so thankful to have all the support and love Ive had for the past 16 years, and Im not even thinkin about stoppin no time soon."

He continued, "TO ANYONE WHO BUMPED THIS SONG AND STILL DO TO THIS DAY, I LOVE YOU!! 🥹❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 12 X PLATINUM BABY."

Cudi, who plans to release his next album in 2026, last dropped his tenth LP, Insano (Nitro Mega), earlier this year.
