On 'Million Dollaz Worth of Game,' 50 Cent couldn't recall the rapper's name but remembered that he sounded similar to Future.

Desiigner’s opportunity to sign with 50 Cent was missed because the rapper didn’t have any other music besides "Panda."

Fif was a guest on the latest episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game, where hosts Gillie Da Kid and Wallo met with the artist and mogul in Shreveport for the Humor and Harmony Festival last month. But around the 28-minute mark of the video below, 50 Cent explained that "Panda" wasn't enough for Desiigner to join G-Unit. The three were originally having a conversation about artist development.

"The n***a came to me, uh–What's the n***a name that sounds like Future?" 50 Cent asked someone off-camera.

Fif and Gillie briefly recited the lyrics to "Panda" before the former Power star said that he met with Desiigner before the Brooklyn native signed to Kanye West.

"Had him at the office, I'm like, 'Yo, so, let me hear the other records you got.'" Fif then made a blank facial expression, presumably revealing that Desiigner didn't have any other music at the time.

"I said, 'That's it?'" he continued. "And the shit was so hot that he had, I was struggling. And I was like, 'Nah, I can't give that n***a that money, let them give him whatever they're gonna give him.'"

Desiigner hasn't been on West's G.O.O.D. Music label since 2019, where he released two projects, New English and L.O.D. The rapper's been out of the limelight since and had a mental health crisis in 2022 that he claimed partly caused him to publicly masturbate on a plane. The rapper was charged with indecent exposure and had to register as a sex offender.
