The black and white clip gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the star-studded event.
Diddy’s star-studded birthday party was so epic that he decided to release a behind-the-scenes video days later.
On Monday evening, the music mogul shared a glamorous two-minute clip of what went down at his 50th birthday celebration. The visual begins with a shot of a beam of light pointing toward the night sky above Beverly Hills before zooming in on his mansion. Guests included Dr. Dre, JAY-Z and Beyoncé, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, Cardi B and Offset, Pharrell Williams, Post Malone, Tyga, Meek Mill, the Weeknd, Travis Scott, Mary J. Blige, 2 Chainz, and more. We even see the host bounding down the staircase in a white suit and yelling, “Happy birthday to me!”
The short film celebrates many moments from the party, including Puffy and Hov clinking champagne flutes, West and Jay briefly speaking, Mary J. Blige performing “Family Affair,” and Kevin Hart cutting a rug.

Cassie Shares Mysterious Post Following Diddy Break-Up
“It was probably one of the most authentic nights of love that I ever experienced. I’m blessed,” Diddy told PEOPLE. He found it difficult even wanting to celebrate his birthday after the death of his ex Kim Porter, who died suddenly of pneumonia on Nov. 15, 2018.
He continued, “I canceled the party two times because I just couldn’t see myself partying for my 50th birthday without her.” The tragedy gutted Diddy, who said he and Porter had “talked about my 50th birthday.” So when his birthday came around on Nov. 4, he said, “I wasn’t feeling it,” and instead had a quiet dinner to celebrate. “I didn’t want to be fake. I wanted to be at a point of strength.”
But Diddy then conceived a solution, rescheduling his party for what would have been Porter’s 49th birthday weekend. “I thought, ‘I can have a party with Kim and we can party together,’” he told the publication. “It worked out beautifully.”
