While filming a music video for his song "The People's House" in Nashville, singer-songwriter and rockstar Jon Bon Jovi and a production assistant helped bring a distressed woman from the edge of a pedestrian bridge.

As shared by the Metro Nashville Police Department on social media, as seen in a video below, the musician was filming a music video on the bridge, which was still open to the public. A woman can be seen in the video on the edge of the bridge with her arms around the railing. Bon Jovi approached the woman alongside a production assistant and calmly greeted her.

After a brief interaction, the woman turned around and the two helped her over the railing. When she returned to safety, she faced Bon Jovi and he hugged her before they went their separate ways. He has refused to talk about the incident out of respect for the woman's privacy.

MNPD Chief John Drake added, "It takes all of us to help keep each other safe."

The bridge is named Seigenthaler, a tribute to editor John Seigenthaler who prevented a man from jumping off the bridge in the '50s during a similar incident.
